We felt really safe in this quiet part of Paris with multiple locks on the apartment. It was easy to walk or catch the Metro to all the usual spots like Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower, plus there were grocery stores, a bakery, and good restaurants nearby. Having two showers and two sinks was great, though there was only one toilet.
